California State University "C" or better admission question

My Junior year I received a C in my first semester of Algebra 2 and a D my second semester . On all of the California State University websites it says that to apply you need a "C" or better in 3 years of math (algebra, geometry, and intermediate algebra).

Also, my Junior Year I received a C my first semester of Spanish 4 and a D my second semester of it. Also on the site it says to apply you need to have earned a "C" or better in 2 years of a foreign language.

Does that mean that I have absolutely no chance at getting in to any of the CSUs? What could I do so that I could still have a possibility of getting in.

Thanks!

Both math and foreign language requirements can be validated by completing higher level courses with C or higher grades.

If you get a C or higher in precalculus or trigonometry, the entire math requirement is validated.

If you get a C or higher in a foreign language course, it validates the lower levels (e.g. Spanish 3 validates Spanish 1 and 2). (Contact them to ask specifically if the C or higher needs to be for a full year, or if it can be for one semester.)

Courses can also be repeated.

I got a B in spanish 2 my freshman year, and a B in spanish 3 sophomore year. But then I got the D my junior year in spanish 4. Do you think that since I fulfilled 2 years with Bs, that the Junior year won’t matter?

Thanks!
