California State University (CSU) question

I took the majority of my transfer units at a California Community College 4 years ago but then moved to a third world country as a volunteer. While there, I took some courses at a four-year institution but that didn't end up working out.

Now I'm returning to California and reenrolling in my CCC to complete my college courses and transfer for a CSU. I have over 60 units at the foreign university but none of them will transfer. Does CSU only consider my GPA and coursework taken at the CCC when determining my admission?

I'm somewhat worried that I may be disqualified due to the excess units.

If none of your foreign school units transfer, the CSU system will only count the ones you took at the CCC. Don’t worry, you’ll be fine.

Okay, thanks for your help!

If it turns out that I have too many units (on the off chance that some of my foreign coursework does transfer), does CSU have a cut off or will they just not consider the excess workload at counting towards the degree?
