California UCs and CSUs that I can get into for Comp Sci major?

<p>My CSU GPA is 3.94, not sure about my UC.
SAT: 1500 (470M + 560 CR + 470W)</p>

<p>I know, I messed up BIG time on my SATs. But I'm retaking it this year and I am confident to get 1800+ (Daily practice and online courses)</p>

<p>I was wondering if anyone would tell me any colleges that are around my level, thanks!</p>

<p>Your UC and CSU GPA are the same. Your GPA is very good but CS is extremely competitive for the UC’s and many top rated Cal States. You really need to aim for a 1900+ on the SAT for the Mid-tier UC’s such as UCD/UCSB/UCI especially since the average UC GPA’s were above 4.0+. I will chance you with your current Stats.</p>

<p>Cal Poly SLO/UCLA/UCSD/UCB: Reach
UCD/UCSB/UCI: Low Reach unless you get your SAT up above 1900
UCSC: High Match
UCR/UCM/SDSU/SJSU/CSULB/CPP: Match
CSUF: Low Match</p>

<p>Any Cal State in your immediate service area would be a safety.</p>

<p>My younger son applied for CS last year. His UC/CSU GPA was lower at 3.73 but ACT of 31.
Got into UCR/SJSU/CSULB/CSUF/CPP/SDSU. Rejected from SLO/UCI/UCD/UCSB. Did not apply to UCM or UCSC. Currently attending SDSU.</p>
