I am currently enrolled at private college in Missouri. After one year, though, I feel like it just is not the right location for me. Due to the fact that I am on a good scholarship right now, I pay roughly $13,000 per year (in total). After looking for cheaper colleges that offer a student population of 8,000+, it is really hard to find a Californian college, which offers similar conditions for internationals. I worked really hard throughout my first two semesters and got a 4.0GPA both times, hoping that this could get me a merit based scholarship. However, as of now, I haven’t been able to find a good offer. I’ve been searching for half a year now and even got accepted at CSU San Bernardino and SFSU, but neither of them would offer me scholarships. Can you guys please help me find a school that allows me to study business administration in California?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Honestly, most financial aid is set aside for incoming freshman but, I’d focus on private schools like LMU, UOP, USD and St Marys.
Public universities in CA are really unlikely to give you any help at all.
You best deal will probably be graduating in Missouri - then moving to CA.
Good luck.
You need to look at the California privates. USC/Loyola Marymount/Pepperdine/University of San Diego/Santa Clara to name a few. Transfer students usually have a much harder time finding FA as opposed to Freshman applicants. Good luck on your research.
If you are an international student, it likely will be very hard to find as good of a scholarship you have now in CA.
