Californians going to boarding school on the east coast!

<p>This thread is for anyone who is is from CA and going to boarding school on the east coast!</p>

<p>Did you get anything in the mail already? A lot of us only have the online results.</p>

<p>I found out about Choate, Groton, and St. Pauls on the websites. I’m still waiting for Andover in the mail.</p>

<p>i got accepted at exeter andover choate nd peddie dont know where yet. also im waiting for DA</p>

<p>It doesn’t look like I’ll be going anywhere, but I am from CA. Rejected at Deerfield, Exeter and St Paul.</p>

<p>I got accepted at Exeter… I’m so terrified I’ll get their on the first day/revisit day wearing all my California clothes and everyone will be like, “What’s with her and her weird clothes?” Amirite?</p>

<p>I know, I don’t want to be a total outsider.</p>

<p>trust me guys, I grew up in california (bay area) then moved to NJ when I was 11ish,…its really not much of a difference…not even in accents…like sure maybe a bit…but not much… and clothes are really the same anywhere.</p>

<p>At least you’re american lol. Cali, you’re the only other CCer except for nerd that I know who got into Groton :D!!! Are you thinking about going there?</p>

<p>i go to prep school in mass, but i’m from cali, and it really isnt much of a difference, trust me. it much closer than. for instance, korea or something…</p>
