Hi everyone. I’m a US High School Senior applying to Cornell this year.
I hadn’t gotten a chance to send in my mid-year transcripts to Cornell yet (our first semester ends pretty late) but my school counselor got a call from Cornell asking about my transcripts. Is this just a routine thing that cornell does or is it bad that I hadn’t reported those grades yet?
It’s neither good nor bad. Many schools have many different semester calendars. Indeed across the world, some schools are no longer in session. There’s nothing to read from this situation – it’s routine.
Since they haven’t been submitted yet, they were probably just calling to see where they were. But they won’t penalize you since your semester ends late. Don’t worry about it.
