Hi,
Got a call from a student rep. Good sign? I mean it was 2 days ago. It is March, pretty late on in the process....
Would a student have called me if I was a no? Wanted to know if I had ?s about school...explained that despite the long interval of time between hearing and applying wanted to ck if I had more questions....
just wonderinggg

This call doesn’t really mean much. I got a similar call during the last week of February. The calls are from Cornell’s Alumni Ambassador Network. Alumnis are advised to talk to applicants during February, but some of them are busy and don’t get around to doing so until later. This is just an info session and NOT an interview. Whatever you say doesn’t help you much, but if you reject the invitation to speak to an ambassador, the ambassador is required to report that to the Admissions Committee. In that case, it looks unfavorable, because Cornell regards enthusiam for Cornell very highly. So yes, it was mainly just supposed to benefit you and answer any questions you had about Cornell. Good luck!
