Called the admissions office

Called this morning with a few questions for those accepted ED, here's what they told me:

-We need to withdraw other apps immediately, but we can wait until the acceptance letters reach us by mail/ financial aid packages as well.

-No mid year reports, just a final copy of our transcript.

-If you want to drop a class/ are making a C for the semester, you need to call the admissions office and explain your situation before it happens. She said they want to deal with that based on the individual, but that it would hurt your offer of admission if you don't call and speak with a counselor.

Evanston next fall! :)

thanks for the info!

thanks bank! i wonder when the fin aid notifications are going to come!

Wait, you say "making a C." What does that mean exactly? Do you mean we're supposed to call if we're getting a C in a class for the semester? Does "C" stand for something else?

What can you really say, though, if you're not doing well in a class? My honest excuse would be "I'm not very motivated anymore and I'm just really excited for Northwestern... Get me out of high school." But I'm wondering if that would fly by the counselor!

^my honest excuse would be "my teacher sucks...a lot" lolz.

Thanks so much Bank!

Would going from Straight As to Straight Bs render any consequences?

Bs are still good grades. I think you're fine. I'm in the same mess right now.
Senioritis is seriously fatal. There is no cure.

@ep1th3t - um. YEAH. I'm seriously getting worried here because I just CAN'T get A's in AP Physics and AP Calc. Seriously, I'm in Medill...they have no math requirement and almost no science requirement...are they really gonna care?

Can anyone confirm what NU thinks about getting B's senior year?

does anyone what core requirements WCAS has, if any?
