Anyone here done with the syllabus? I think we are way behind.....we just started electricity a week ago and are doing electric fields now. Anyone know any good resources to get practice MCQs, I already have free response from 99 to 2004. How hard is the AP exam? What percent do I need to get a 5?

u're kinda behind. We started acoustics, gotta do optics (on saturday session) and modern physics.

Actually, we did acoustics and Optics in the first semester.....so I guess we are not that behind. Still got to do Modern and Nuclear Physics though.

The class covers a lot of material and I don't really know how to prepare for the exam. Any recommendations?

BTW - Our class uses the Giancoli text.

my class is starting the last unit on magnetism. i dunno how i'm ever going to be able to memorize all this stuff for the exam. there is soooo much information...

We've been working through a college text book from cover to cover. But for the AP exam, we've been having 2 hour review sessions three times a week with a nice, thick packet to work through on top of any outside review we do on our own. I'm having the same trouble finding good MCQs. I've only been able to obtain lots and lots of free response questions from my physics teacher. I think we have modern and nuclear left.

bump it up.....

Our class uses the Giancoli also. We start Modern tomorrow, which includes Nuclear, I think.... It's our last section, and then we start AP test review next Wednesday (or about that time).

I can't believe I actually got through it all. Hopefully I can remember the stuff.

thanks for the link.

we've done all but the end of optics and moden physics. Were a little behind though
