I hate it when 8th graders get on this site, they truly don't understand how it's too early to get wrapped up in the process.

dys2ks, Rbase07 and celebrian- You guys are a bunch of ass wipes. I'm a very mature 8th grader and I have every right to be on CC. I've been viewing this site since I was in like 6/7th grade. I'm just educating myself on colleges and the app process so that when I finally do apply to college 4 years from now, I can watch my fellow senior classmates struggle with trying to survive the transition to college while I breeze right through it. I really don't care about what you guys have to say cuz I'm going to keep viewing CC with pride and ethusiasm.

runnyawaywithme..You go do your thing, and educate yourself. There is no reason to not come on this site, you will learn alot of things. It will help you in high school, and college. So study, and be free, and get an education..BE your best, and nothing but the best.

"You guys are a bunch of *$$ wipes. I'm a very mature 8th grader and I have every right to be on CC."
-....uhhhh.. OK. First off, why the foul language? You say you're mature, so you should be mature enough to realize that other people have opinions beside yourself. I'm sorry, but I just believe that your brain is not fully developed enough to comprehend that you will encounter views differing from your own in the real world. Now, it's easy enough to sit there and type away on your computer in the comforts of your mommy and daddy's house. But I'm pretty sure that you would never call any of us here on CC (esp. me, or respected CC members like Celebrian and dys2ks) *$$ wipes to our faces, and I feel consoled about that. I don't need to resort to 7th-grade-esque insults to make my point.

"I'm just educating myself on colleges and the app process so that when I finally do apply to college 4 years from now, I can watch my fellow senior classmates struggle with trying to survive the transition to college while I breeze right through it."
-I'm sorry to say this, but you sound downright conceited. Your words here are so cold, I am inclined to wonder if you even have friends. I willing to bet that you don't have a boyfriend/girlfriend and will remain a virgin until you graduate from college. You enjoy watching people suffer... hmmmm... OK! I see the problem! You like to insult absolute strangers for no reason at all. You don't sound very mature at all. In fact, you remind me very much of the annoying little freshmen that get beat up on a regular basis at my HS.

"I'm just educating myself on colleges and the app process so that when I finally do apply to college 4 years from now.."
-What's the point? You'll probably get bored with this in a couple of months, and forget everything that you think you learned. There is no need for all of this research so early in the game. Just concentrate on getting good grades in 7th or 8th grade (whichever you're in) and NOT becoming one of those lowly freshmen that most people can't stand.

"I really don't care about what you guys have to say cuz I'm going to keep viewing CC with pride and ethusiasm."
-Nobody ever said you had to.

"Biggest Reach School: Phillips Exeter Academy and then University of Pennsylvania, Harvard and Yale"
-You act so educated about the college admissions process, and then list your biggest reach schools as the typical HYPS/best private prep schools in the US. I bet you can't list 5 good reasons why you want to attend the three ivy league schools you have just named, other than the fact that they are all ivy-league and THEREFORE must be a better education. How can you even think that you are going on to one of these schools when you couldn't even complete a stats eval. You don't have SAT/SATII/AP Test scores to give. You don't have teacher recs, interviews or even app. essays to speak of, so how can you just automatically believe that you'll just waltz into Harvard because you WANT to? You say you've "been viewing this site since I was in like 6/7th grade," but you know nothing other than HYPS, and of course, the infamous Exeter Academy. You don't even know if you've been accepted.

You think you are so smart, but you really are not.

well, I feel twenty pounds lighter... :)

It's not that occaisonally visiting here is bad, but I too came here as an eigth grader, and I KNOW that besides getting good grades, being involved, etc., you don't need to know if brown's neuroscience program is really spectacular, if yale requires a midterm report or what the city of Ithaca is like. You really need to become more mature, when we were giving our opinions, much like you were. We weren't attacking you, and we demand the same respect in return.
