<p>Sorry for the pun, but could you please list what cell phone providers work best at Pomona? We're looking at different plans for D who'll be there in September but don't know which companies operate well there. We're using T-Mobile at home, but S has Verizon at UCLA (about the only company that works there). Thanks!</p>
<p>Verizon works best. The school tells you T-mobile, but I know a lot of people who don't get reception in Mudd-Blaisdell and Oldenborg when using it. I have Sprint, and it was really bad last year when I lived in Wig, but has been pretty good this year in M-B.</p>

<p>go with verizon if you want really good reception in the dorms (dont bother if you end up in the basement rooms) otherwise just go with the cheapest one cause reception quality is pretty good all over the place for any cell phone provider</p>

<p>I have T-Mobile (at Scripps) and have found that it works well over all the campuses, including dorms at other schools. The majority of students either have Verizon or T-Mobile. I would NOT recommend AT&T even after thir merger with Cingular.</p>
