Calling all Profession CC posters! lol

Hey Guys!
I have a little problem and need some advice.....

Okay, first off I'm a senior, and I'm a seventh day adventist and could not take the ACT on December 8. So my counselor scheduled an ACT for December 22, but ACT said it was too soon and January 5 was the soonest test date. Well, my counselor faxed ACT for approval of the Jan. 5 ACT date and we haven't heard from the yet...(she did it beginning of last week). She called ACT a few times and the secretary said they would take care of it. I called all of my schools a few schools a few weeks ago and they said it would be fine if I took the Dec 22 test date, but I haven't gotten a chance to call about the Jan 5 date. But just in case the Jan 5 ACT doesn't happen...Do you think my colleges will accept the Feb 9 ACT??
Thanks guys! Merry christmas!

(The rest of my ACT scores are horrible, I really need this test date)

Forget the Feb 9 ACT and try to take the soonest possible. Most locations allow walk ins on “stand by” and if room is available you’re in…or try another location.

that is the soonest possible date if I don’t take it Jan. 5

Like I said, take it on Jan 5. If you have to, go to one of testing locations and be a “walk in”…Just check in advance that they accept walk ins and have your money in hand

Wow, that is detication. Im Catholic and I still work on Sunday sometimes (they do not consider religion a valid excuse and would probably fire me if I didnt though)

Take it AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

My question is…"If for some reason I don’t get to take the ACT on Jan. 5, will colleges accept the Feb 9 Date???

That is a question only your colleges can answer.

Colleges can be very accepting if you explain all your circumstances and are justified in your reasoning. The wouldn’t screw over your future because of your religion.

thanks hoonose! I feel relieved now!
