<p>I called them and they told me it will be known at around the last week of march.</p>
<p>that would mean next week... and with all the other major schools coming out next week also, it will make for one exciting 7-day stretch. here's to hoping we all get the best.</p>

<p>lol i was literally in bed a minute ago when my dad ran and said OMG its Rice...and i was so excited and nervous. "Hello sergio, this is sara from Rice/baylor, I am pleased to inform you that you are a finalist for the program and we would like to interview you." OMG i cant believe this!!!!</p>

<p>on the rice website, it said that last year 50 people were finalists.. from a pool of about 269ish.. correct me someone if i'm wrong</p>
<p>well it varies from year to year but like 40-50 are finalitst andt hen 20 are made rice/baylor scholars, and then about 15 accept.</p>
