<p>I believe there is a simple answer. Everyone accepted to Rice has already proved his academic intelligence but Rice/Baylor is looking for those few that they believe will follow through in their quest in becoming a doctor. Therefore they are seeking those with exceptional medical ec's, outstanding letters of recommendations and is passionate about the medical field ( this should show during the interview process).
Good luck to all, you should be very proud to have made it this far. You have probably figured out I am a proud Rice/Baylor father.</p>
