I'm just wondering, ive taken a few spanish sat ii practice tests, and have gotten consistently gotten 80-81% correct on the barron's tests. According to them, this score is in the middle of the range of 650-700 (raw score of 60). I wish to take the test in may. Currently, im in IB spanish III, (using the paso a paso books) and i usually get the highest grades in all of the spanish classes. Is this score good enough to be a 780+ on the real test (as barron's is known to be much harder than real thing), or do I need more practice. Would you recommend I watch spanish tv, or just read ahead in my book or something to get better?

If you're doing that well in Barrons, I think you'll succeed. I've taken the SAT II Spanish (800) and trust me, if you've got Barrons down, you're set. On a side note, however, why don't you wait until November? That way you can impress the adcom with the listening ;)

does it look better to take the spanish listening? im signing up for sat 2's and i dont kno which spanish one to take?

i'm quite afraid of the one w/ listening, will it look horrible to take it w/o listening?

Pshh. I only got a 770, so I guess I'm not welcome in this topic. And I had some decent advice, too...

give it to me! some of us would be more than happy with a 770 (like me!)

ok fine, 770+ are welcome, lol

Too. Freakin'. Late.

Sorry, have fun FAILING.

Um, but seriously, I'll give my experiences in a bit. I'm tired right now.
