Ok, I am officially starting to freak out here. I have not received a single thing from USC, other than the application confirmation letter. I am completing my second semester of the required 2nd semester English class, so I figured I would receive either a grade request or a rejection letter. However, as of today's mail delivery, NOTHING. I realize they said June 1, but come on. The wait is killing me. Come on USC!!!

I haven't received a spring grade request either!!! i'm a junior and my friend with a slightly lower gpa going to a CSU got one...

i just got a spring grade request today, i'm still confused as to what that indicates, though.

I did go to the USC admission office last Friday. The guy told me they will start sending out notification this week...and when I kept asking, he said"that is what i can tell you right now, good luck." After I left, I still called the admission office, a lady picked up my call and said"we will probably mail out notification unitl the first week of June"

So I guess some applicants will get the notification from this week, and some get it at a later time...Good luck to everyone!!! God bless me~~~

Stats: I am also waiting for Marshall..

Ok, so do you guys think that no grade request is bad or good?

uscplease, BAD! I think it's very bad if you're a freshman applying for sophomore transfer since you only have two quarters or one semester. I think I am rejected.

what about for junior transfers with all the pre reqs done?

I would say that you will either get rejected or accepted, and probably the latter if your GPA is high, etc. What about if you're applying for junior status, and your 2nd semster english comp. is progress?

Calm down... I and 2 other friends (engineering majors) did not receive any Spring grades request but all of us got accepted.

I would love to calm down, but I was told that if I don't have the english class done, I should expect a grade request at the most, and I haven't gotten one. Needless to say, I feel rejected already.

who knows what grade requests really mean though, what we really need are the % of acceptees who received grade requests, and the % of people who received grade requests who were acceptees.

i think usc sends out the grade requests in bunches. i got mine today but i know someone who got one over a week ago. i'd like to know how many people get grade requests and how many people get in. the wait was killing me too and then i emailed a counselor that i met with last june and he told me not to freak out and that my letter was mailed out that day.

Are you guys business majors?

Kevin, I'm a business major... or I'm applying to be. My GPA is 3.76 at UCI and I thought my essays were decent. No word from them. =X Were you or your friends sophomores or freshmen?

Junior engineering majors...

Why don't you stay in UCI? UCI is a good school too! Why do you want to transfer to USC which costs much much more?

lex, how do you e-mail a counselor?

Anybody got USC letter today?

I don't like Irvine. Don't fit in right. I like every college I visited except Riverside. Don't really like the students. Another reason for SC is that they have business. But mainly because I want to leave Irvine.

Kevin, I'm a CLAS major, sophomore transfer.

I applied when I was a senior in high school and I got rejected. On the letter it said if you wanted to meet with a counselor to transfer in two or three semesters to call a number. I did and met with a counselor last june. He told me about the classes I should take and basic information and that's the person I emailed, he's been more than helpful.
