Do UC graduates have a hard time finding a job?
I'm asking because my aunt recently graduated with a Bachelor's from UC Santa Cruz and has been working at a Macy's folding clothes for 1 year already making minimum wage and sunk in debt.
On the other hand: my cousin grouted with a Business degree from Cal Poly this year and already has a well-paying job.

My question again is: Do UC graduates struggle finding employment?

Oh btw my aunt majored in Cultural Anthropology.

Faster CC faster!!!

Get in here you jerks!!!

I graduated from UCSC and didn’t have a problem finding a well paying job. But then again, I spent my years gaining work experience and making connections, which made a difference.

You’ve probably heard this argument a hundred times, but colleges very rarely (if ever) are a good determinant of individual income. Top tier schools confer an advantage, but it’s unclear that people who got into said top tier college to begin with needed it. In the end it comes down to the individual, and it’s tougher at the moment than it has been in a long time to secure a well-paying job. Oh, and I’d suggest she fix up her resume. Most I’ve seen for revisions were south of mediocre.

Thanks for your response CollectivSynergy.
