This year, my school has had a couple students that were admitted to UCB and are known for cheating their ways through nearly every class. I’m considering informing Berkeley, as I feel that this is unfair to other students who either were admitted by virtue of their own hard work, or academically honest students who did not get in because spots were taken up by cheaters. Would telling Berkeley do anything? We have only anecdotal evidence, as these students were never caught so their many incidences of cheating were never recorded.
No, just believe that cheaters will get caught eventually.
In the country where I live, the people who don’t live by the rules drive Ferraris & Lambourghinis-- I’m not making this up.
I don’t waste my time obsessing over it. Karma eventually catches up w these people.
Either they won’t have what it takes to survive at Berkeley, or if they decide to cheat again to survive, they will be caught. Don’t worry about it.
I doubt Berkeley would do anything because a person called in with anecdotal evidence. Don’t worry about cheaters, if they’re not actually capable of doing well at Berkeley, it will definitely show. Also getting caught cheating in college is a completely different ball game. So if these people continue to cheat and get caught, their college careers are in huge jeopardy.
