I just created my Calnet ID, so does that mean it will be my future email?

Basically, my CalNet ID is berkeley, so will my email be berkeley@berkeley.edu?

No, your calnet id is not your email

What fortify says is right. Previously, you used your email name and password to sign into your email. But ever since they combined the signing in process, your CalNet ID does not create your email.

I’m most surprised by the fact that no one has picked “berkeley” as a CalNet ID before you haha.

you can still create your e-mail…and choose berkeley@berkeley.edu haha if it’s not taken!
