I heard that it is easier to get into CALS for biosystems engineering than the engineering dept. how accurate is this statement. I am very nervous. Got into Purdue, Texas AM honors, NYU Poly, denied by Rice and Wash. St Louis... Nervous doesn't begin to say how I feel. I want to go to Cornell

I feel the same way… Uhm I don’t know if bioengineering is easier to get into in CALS but i hope it is! According to my alum interviewer, he said CALS look at your essays and ECS intensively.

Comeon guys, stop speculating. Is it easier? Who knows…in reality, CALS is the second largest school, which means more applications.

Well I don’t think any of the colleges at Cornell are easier than another. They all have their own standards so… CALS just have more applications.
