CALS...don't have a science subject test

Okay for Cornell CALS, i know they have something like applied economics or something, which is basically business administration or something like business major, and that's what i'm interested in. however, the other majors under this college includes something in science, and they "recommend" a science SAT subject test and have to write an essay that deals with like envioronment issues and something something something (that i'm not even too gung-ho about).
would this hurt my chances of applying to CALS? i was also debating on the hotel school, but i don't have work experience at all (it's a big factor).

Or, does anyone have any recommendations for which one to apply to? i'm planning on majoring in something w/ business (and i really do not want to do CAS)

apply for AEM, i applied ED and i did my SAT subject tests in Nov.
