Essays: common app was about overcoming the swedish teachings of jantelagen (I’m swedish lived there for 9 years). It’s basically the idea that everyone should strive to be average and try not to excel in a particular area. Supplement was about my interest in medicine/biology and how CALS can be a gateway for me to continue my progress towards having s profession in those fields. Additional info section was about the passing of my father sophomore year and how it has affected my financial situation. I pay my own tuition and my mom has had to take up 2 jobs.
Teacher Recommendation: AP chem teacher (known her for 3 years 7 to 8/10), spanish teacher, (2 years, favorite teacher ever and we have a great relationship 8/10)
Counselor Rec: our counsellors are close to their students 8/10
