cals major in general!

<p>i was reading posts here and found out that selecting majors when you apply to CALS is actually much more important than it is in schools like CAS where it is non-binding.</p>

<p>Does this mean that if you MUST go with the major you've applied to CALS when you get there? </p>

<p>so like... you know how in CAS you declare your major end of your soph year? but in CALS, is it already declared when you get there for your freshmen year?</p>

<p>Hmph, this is confusing! :P</p>

<p>there is no "cals major." you apply directly to a major, which also helps determine the chance you have of being accepted.</p>
