CALS vs Dyson SAEM

Hey,
I’m an international student from China.

I aspire to major in Economics at Cornell. However, I also like Computers and would love to try and at least get a minor in Computer Science along with that Econ degree I want. I would like to work in the banking sector right after college, and hence plan on getting the Econ degree.

I wanted to know if I should apply to Cornell’s School of Arts and Sciences as there I can get both, an Economics and a Computer Science degree, or if I should apply to the Dyson School of Applied Economics where I could get a concentration in Finance which might be better if I eventually want to work in the banking sector only.

My extra curriculars show a little bit of interest in both, economics and computer science. (Maybe a little more of economics).

From my understanding, almost anyone can minor in CS: https://www.cs.cornell.edu/undergrad/csminor

Take a look at the differences between econ and AEM and see if one stands out as a better fit for you.
