<p>Who will be there 6/9 for CalSO?</p>

<p>I just confirmed and bought my plane ticket.</p>

<p>Attending the 6/9 CalSO also. Skipping a day of classes to go but whatever :smiley:
It’ll be worth it for the earlier registration I think.</p>

<p>I’ll be there, now I’m trying to figure out how to put together my fall schedule, so I’ll be ready on the 9th. Is it like at CC (semester), where 12 units is full-time? Eh, its probably written somewhere.</p>

<p>@santacruzstefan: At Cal you need 13 units to be a full-time student.</p>

<p>^thx. Somebody told me about these “DeCal” classes you can take for extra units here and there, on random subjects; they sound pretty fun. I think I’m going to make facilitating one of them my project for this thing I have to do for a scholarship.</p>

<p>how did you guys get yours so early? the earliest and only CalSO available for me was July 7th. Maybe its split up by major? I am doing business btw…</p>

<p>To keep it short, CalSO is Berkeley’s student orientation program. DeCals are student-run courses that can be taken for usually 1-3 units pass/no-pass.</p>

<p>@Brian you can bring family, but its expensive. I’m gonna bring my mom this Saturday to the one thing, but there’s no need for anyone to come for CalSO, at least in my opinion.</p>
