Who will be there 6/9 for CalSO?

I just confirmed and bought my plane ticket.

Attending the 6/9 CalSO also. Skipping a day of classes to go but whatever
It’ll be worth it for the earlier registration I think.

I’ll be there, now I’m trying to figure out how to put together my fall schedule, so I’ll be ready on the 9th. Is it like at CC (semester), where 12 units is full-time? Eh, its probably written somewhere.

Will sign up, as soon as I SIR later today.

@santacruzstefan: At Cal you need 13 units to be a full-time student.

^thx. Somebody told me about these “DeCal” classes you can take for extra units here and there, on random subjects; they sound pretty fun. I think I’m going to make facilitating one of them my project for this thing I have to do for a scholarship.

I’ll be there

Yea DeCals are awesome! I’m gonna try to take one every semester :D

@santacruzfan - use ninjacourses.com. it’ll tell you every single combo for the classes you want.

how did you guys get yours so early? the earliest and only CalSO available for me was July 7th. Maybe its split up by major? I am doing business btw…

Someone please tell me what CalSO and DeCal are? I’m such a newb…

To keep it short, CalSO is Berkeley’s student orientation program. DeCals are student-run courses that can be taken for usually 1-3 units pass/no-pass.

MY DAD JUST BOUGHT ME A CAL SWEATSHIRT :D

I’ll be there too!
But I’m wondering if I can enroll in classes before CalSo…Does anybody know??

Thanks Koreo!

Are any of you old enough to come out drinking with me the night before?

I’ll be there! Any history majors coming up on June 9th? :)

And are we supposed to bring n e family??

I want to go on 6/9 :(

Yeah, me too. If only the stupid admissions officer would return to answer questions about the conditions of admission.

That’s exactly my problem!

@berkeleyorbust I am, but then again I don’t drink anymore lol.

@Brian you can bring family, but its expensive. I’m gonna bring my mom this Saturday to the one thing, but there’s no need for anyone to come for CalSO, at least in my opinion.
