I think this was brought up in another thread..but the answer was never clear.

Is CalSO useful for FPF students? Because we've already chosen our classes. I know you get to meet people and it's a lot of fun, but is it worth the money?

It’s up to you. FPF is a good starting point for making friends and getting acquainted with the campus. It’s a pretty good experience but by no means necessary. Ultimately it depends on the person. It’s like asking “is it worth it to travel to ___ for a week over the summer?” Well, can you afford it? How much would you enjoy it? So on and so forth.

ohh I think I should have clarified. I’m already enrolled in FPF; I was talking about the CalSO program for two days that they use to help you choose your classes. They already sent out a class schedule thing for FPF students…so I was wondering what they do for us at CalSO.

(if you’re talking about the same thing then my bad =P)

Sorry it was a typo. I meant CalSO when I typed FPF.
