CalSO Questions + Freshman Scheduling

So I have a couple of questions about Berkeley.

First off, for CalSO, is it ok if I leave midway during the first day and come back the next morning. I heard that all class selections and Calcards occur the second day so I won't be missing anything important if I leave around 3:30pm the first day will I?

Also, in terms of Freshman Scheduling, would this Fall Schedule be overwhelming?

Fall:
CS 61A
Math 1B
Math 53/54
+ A breadth requirement course I'll decide later

Spring:
CS 61B
EE 42/43
Stats 133
+ 2 More breadths

Final question, Is it really impossible to place out of breadth courses with AP tests? Also, if that's the case, how would AP test scores factor into my rankings in terms of class selection priority?

Thank you for any help you may provide. :)

The College of Letters and Science does not allow fulfilling the 7-course breadth requirement with AP tests, although AP tests can be used on the reading and composition requirement (4 on English = R&C A; 5 on English literature = R&C A and B).
