<p>I guess the ones in June are better than the ones in July in case a class fills up, although I've been told that usually isn't much of a worry.</p>

<p>I'm not going to CalSO. I asked a current Berkeley student if it's worth going to (airfare and time) and it isn't really unless you're really set on meeting other students before the school year begins.</p>

<p>I wouldn't trust the opinion of one student, sarcasmgirl. I've been told it is useful and certainly important in the ability to register for your first 10.5 units much earlier than without it.</p>

<p>I'm not sure meeting other students is even the point--getting college advising, major advising and generally being oriented to the school is, I believe.</p>

Maybe it's more like I don't really care as much as the students who are going to CalSO or even care as much as one might think I should care. But either way, I don't think I'll be registering in the... more popular classes, I guess. We'll see. :)</p>

Eh, not quite. I haven't sumitted a SIR anywhere. But I think it's safe to say that I'm 90% Cal, 10% UCLA. And I say it's safe to say because I'm already talking about selling my car. :)</p>

<p>Also, even if I go to Cal, I probably won't see my fellow CCC transfer philosophy majors there, because I'm thinking of taking other classes since I'm thinking of switching majors at some point.</p>
