Freshman Decisions will be released tonight, March 13th at 6:30 PM PST. All Regular Decision applicants will receive an email with a link to their portal. Please log in to your student applicant portal to access your decision letter.</p>
<p>Thanks for the info…my son is waiting to hear from Harvey Mudd and CalTech. If he gets in CalTech we’ll go ahead and book plane tickets for a visit over spring break, so I’ve been checking this obsessivly!!!</p>

<p>I had a feeling they would never release decisions while the admissions office was still open! I think they all do it on Friday nights or on Saturdays so they don’t have to field 20k phone calls in the minutes after! Thanks for the info! </p>

<p>@carolinacatz, if your son is admitted to Caltech, he will be invited to Prefrosh Weekend. They announce the date only to admitted students. Unlike MIT, who openly states their Campus Preview Weekend this year is April 10-13. My guess is Caltech’s Prefrosh Weekend will be on the same dates, or two weeks later (after Easter). So if admitted, your son will have a choice whether to visit Caltech over his spring break or during Prefrosh Weekend.</p>

<p>When we spoke last October, our admissions rep would only say “mid-April” for the date. But for the <em>days</em>, he did say it would start at noon Thursday and prefrosh depart Saturday morning. So I guess it could be on Easter weekend, like you think, since they end before that Sunday.</p>
<p>The week before Easter is right when we plan to be out there, but I don’t want to jinx anything so Knock on wood!</p>
<p>We are also waiting on Harvey Mudd and MIT…</p>
