<p>After I tracked on the previous years, I found out that Caltech “always” announced their decision on the Saturday before MIT PI Date. If so, it will be tomorrow before 11:59 pm. Good Luck.</p>

<p>rejected–35 act, 800s on all subject tests, 5 on all APs, perfect GPA. Thats the way it goes…</p>

<p>Most likely my SAT, SAT II, and ACT scores. No significant EC’s either. Didn’t spend too much time with the supplementary essays.</p>

<p>Rejected, 2300+ SAT, 5’s on all AP’s, 800 on both SAT II, 4.0 UW, Intel STS Semifinalist, 2nd place ISEF, 2 time ISEF qualifier, research paper submitted, AIME qualifier, multiple other awards, a lot in science/math. Congrats to everyone who got in! Now we wait for Pi Day, Tau time :)</p>

<p>Personally, I feel getting waitlisted inspite of being an international asking for fin aid is pretty good. I’ll be sending in updates, I guess, so fingers crossed! Caltech is THE dream.</p>
<p>Um, does anyone know how much of a chance we actually have of getting of the waitlist. Like statistics from last year… how many (if any) got admitted from the waitlist.</p>

<p>4.84 WGPA. 2280 SAT. 9 APs (all 5s). Lot of ECs with leadership positions. Two years internship in particle physics. Lots of advanced science courses.</p>
