<p>Here's a local news video on the ME 72 robotics competition that happened last week. Students spend a term building remote-controlled robots and then participate in a double-elimination competition. This year the battlefield was Millikan Pond, and the objective was to use a team's two robots to place ping pong balls on "islands" in the pond. There was also a component involving switching one of the robots to autonomous mode and having it touch a target.
