Caltech supplement short answers

For the first two questions on the caltech supplement, they ask simple questions: three adjectives your friends would use to describe you and three books that have been meaningful to you. Although they ask you to limit yourself to the space provided, are they asking for a simple list of three things or a list and an explanation of each choice?

Three adjectives = three adjectives.
Three books = three books.

No explanation needed or asked for; go with the simple list.

thanks for the answer!
anyone else sure of what i should do?

…seriously…?

They’re just asking for lists but give you the space in case you want to include a BRIEF explanation. It’s not needed or asked for but if you absolutely want to include one you can. I did.

I just made a list with no explanation. It worked for me.
