Camdem honors college

does anybody here have any experience with it??

what are the seminars/trips like??

Great people and knowledgeable advisers, The curriculum is different than your traditional collegiate experience. Honors seminars have varied and nontraditional topics but most are interesting. Less emphasis on testing and more on research discussion and writing in the topic areas. For one seminar I wrote over 70 pages of papers throughout the semester. Also be prepared to read, a lot! You will work hard, but it is rewarding in the end.

Trips have been quite enjoyable too. Most seminars will incorporate at least one or two during the semester. Honors clubs and organizations also provide an outlet for trips.

Rigorous education that is rewarding in the end and many alumni head off to ivy-league graduate schools after their 4 years here. Definitely worth the 10,000 tuition compared with other schools.

how much scholarship money do they give honors students usually?

im going for an interview next thursday anf they’re interviewing me for out of state scholarships

Depends on your stats. Generally the minimum scholarship in the HC is around 5000/yr and I was in-state so that alone covered half of the $10k tuition. I know students with exceptional stats who received full rides. Rutgers has a university wide scholarship system based on SAT, GPA, and Rank. 1500 M+V and top 5% will get you full tuition w/ room and board. Then the amounts go down from there.

Do not know much about out-of-state scholarships but I’m sure they are substantial, Good luck on the interview.
