Camera at NASS???

Super excited to be going to NASS can we bring cameras?????

Yes you can. I did, but I remember only taking like one picture.

bring a camera, but there won't be very much time to use it 'cause you'll be having too much fun doing whatever you're doing to take pictures besides the marine corps parade, i guess (my session didn't get to see the parade 'cause of weather).

Our son took a disposable camera. Took some great pictures of friends he made who will be life long friends, mids sleeping in class, mids having fun in the dorm, etc.

Mine took a disposable. NO PICTURES WERE TAKEN. I could strangle him. He knows I have a scrapbooking habit that needs support! :)

Seriously, though, he was so busy, he had no time.

Yes, take a disposable. And do take as many pictures as possible, you will want to remember everything :)

My son's squad leader took lots of pictures. He later put them on a disc for my son. Some are great pictures. A lot of them were from mock sea trials.

We were so busy during my sessions that the only place pictures could have been taken was during the Marine parade. But there'll be a lot of hustle and bustle (although a year later I can't remember what exactly we did aside from mock Sea Trials - it's all one big exhausting blur), and keeping a clunky camera in your pocket will be uncomfortable, especially when your squad leader says "We're late. Now we have to sprint there."

Definitely take a camera. Wish i would of taken more pictures.

the NASS squad leaders/ etc. take a ton of pictures that you never even notice they take. if you find them on facebook/myspace, etc later they often put them on there. also they can email you copies. i have some from NASS and because of facebook, I keep in regular contact with my squad leader and other mids that I became friends with there. that is a HUGE help getting ready for plebe summer.

You moms are all alike. My mom is buying me a camera as a graduation present and I'm wondering if it's more for herself.
