Cameras

Can I have my digital camera during Plebe Summer? Or is it sometime that my parents should bring down during Parent's Weekend?

Parents Weekend.

Definately parents weekend. Even then, you may not be able to "keep it" until after reform- that will depend on your company.

Oooo, oooo, I can help with this! Not a good idea. Particularly when you pull the camera out during rack races (anyone remember 110 film??), come out into the P-way, and start snapping pictures as your make your rack. Been there, done that! Got the plebe-ho to prove it!

^^^^ LOL!!!
ok- now you have to explain...
what, exactly, is a "plebe-ho???"

As quoted from The Best of Zaphod:
PLEBE HO!

GET YOUR SORRY A$$E$ OUT HERE, NOW! DROP WHAT YOU'RE DOING! NOW, NOW, NOW! LET'S GO, PEOPLE! YOU'RE TOO SLOW! THE WAR WILL BE OVER BY THE TIME YOU GET HERE! MOVE IT, MOVE IT!

I could not have described it better.

ATTENTION ON DECK!

oh, "that" plebe-ho!!!

Lets hope his ears are ringing.....!!!!!!!!!!

You never know. ;)

As a general rule of thumb... if it is anything not issued on I-Day... you pretty much can't have it. I think about the only exception was if you brought a bible or other book of worship. You'd never be able to use the camera anyways...

And at least for me, it's not like I really want pictures of me doing rack or uniform races anyway...the photographer is always there and will do more than satisfy your and your parent's need for PS pics.

I bought my Plebe a nice, new digital SLR for HS graduation. She is planning to finally take it back with her over one of the holiday breaks. Truth is, she has had chances to take it since PPW, but each time has said that she wouldn't have time or opportunity to use it.
