camino del sol noise levels

so i know camino del sol is relatively new but for those of you who live in the 3 story apartments and who have/ still are living there: what is it like? i know with norte and vdc the walls are like paper thin and you can hear everything, but how about for camino? can you hear the people above you and below you? and how much do you hear? is the washer distracting if you live on the second floor? can you hear people in the kitchen and people watching tv? if you are on the second floor, can you hear the people above you on the third floor? is it jut thier footsteps or them actually taking too? sorry to throw out so many questions but i was just curious cause in norte you can hear everything...

also any other information about camino would be helpful. do you recommend living there (even tho its pretty expensive)? why or why not?

also how about the heater/ac? cause in norte i know some rooms get more then other? is it like that in camino as well?

anything else about camino that bothers people?

any info is awesome

Have you checked out these reviews from yelp?

[Camino del Sol - Irvine, CA](http://www.yelp.com/biz/camino-del-sol-irvine)

third floors at Camino get fans. heater is good to me, it just depends on how your apt-mates like it as well. i think in general houses get unequal heating/ac to an extent but you can change the vents anywhere.
noise levels, i can’t compare with Norte since i didn’t live there, only visited here and there. i would think it’s not as noisy though. it all depends on where you live too - because if there’s people just hanging around talking/partying outside of your home it’s going to get annoying. you can hear footsteps of the people above you, and murmurs. the washer is distracting on the second floor, but just close your door. i feel like the walls maybe are slightly a bit thicker than VDC. all the volume levels are relative to the people making the noise, if you just close your door though, it shouldn’t be distracting.

imo, if you have alternatives that are cheaper do that, not Camino. Camino isn’t worth the price to me, especially now that they are raising their prices. i mean, they didn’t even fill all of their homes this year… it’s a nice place, but for college living, the nice new look is a bit unnecessary and expensive.
but, i lived in VDC before, so maybe the change from small beds/rooms at Norte will make Camino seem great (since you haven’t lived at VDC). but i think VDC is a better value.

thanks moey! so if the people who live above you are loud and laughing and talking, you only hear murmurs? that doesnt sound too bad. how about under you? when people are in the kitchen washing dishes and cooking or when they are watching tv?
