Camp Dewolfe Retreat this Weekend

For any of you having a Plebe Candidate or Midshipman going on the retreat here is a website of the camp that they will be at.

Camp DeWolfe

It sounds and looks like a nice place.

CPASteve

We have 91 students going, 14 upperclassmen and the rest plebe candidates.

Almost all of the time will be free for swimming, sailing, hiking, playing outdoor games, challenged by the obstacle course. Saturday night we will have a bonfire on the beach, with S'mores, guitars and lots of stories and laughter. It will be a real break for the plebe candidates with no musters, salutes, or scedules. We are bringing a twelve foot screen with us, for movies later Saturday evening.

Early Saturday evening for one hour, there will be religious services with the chaplains from different faiths leading the services.

Sunday morning we have one meeting planned for everyone together. The topic is male/female relationships in the college scene. I have baked lots of harvest loaves, which is a favorite with the students.

You will hear great reports from your sons/daughters, they have a good time.

Sounds like a wonderful opportunity for those going.

Are the PC's there tonight?

It is my understanding that they are to leave KP about 7:30AM on Saturday and will return about 3:30PM on Sunday.

See you next weekend,
