<p>Hey everyone! I was admitted into UT's Cockrell School of Engineering with Civil Engineering as my concentration starting in the fall & I'm not sure if I should attend Camp Texas later this year in August or not. I would love the opinion of any individual that attended the camp or heard anyone talking about it. What activities were present? The sleeping conditions? etc. Just any information would be great!!:) I checked out the website already, so I just really need some personal opinions. Appreciate it!</p>
<p>I know you’ll get more detailed descriptions from students who have attended it, but I wanted to share that my OOS son (in BME) really enjoyed Camp Texas last summer. He met some kids who became friends. Every session, at least one professor comes and speaks. We managed to keep it a surprise that my son’s grandfather was one of the speakers during his session!</p>
<p>Woww! That sounds exciting. I’m definitely leaning towards attending the camp then. I’m really looking forward to meeting new people and having them possibly become friends!:)</p>
