Campaign slogans?

Does anyone have any good campaign slogans for student gov. elections?

Try something using your last name?

You probably live in the States... so it doesn't work as well but anyways...

Jean Chretien in the background with a speech bubble:
"Vote for ___ because he won't give your money to Quebec advertising firms".

If you have been following Canadian politics lately, this is referring to the federal sponsorship scandal. We all thought it was hilarious, and the kid who had those posters made Student Union Executive. But yeah, plays on political figures definetly work ;)

One of my friends tells me he put up posters saying, "Vote for ____, because he JUST DOESN'T CARE."

What are you running for? Treasurer? Secretary? President? Vice president?

Unless you really do care about student government (ie, it actually does stuff other than dances, etc.) try going for honesty: "...because I need this more to get into college."

Running for Class officer...and yes I do care...it's been my dream since I was 10 to be in student gov (dorky, I know)

I feel bad for you.

i just run and dont do a thing
been president all 4 years

It has to do with popularity.

Why dont you run for president?

It is really easy to win the election if you are popular.

If you have class speeches, make your speech AWESOME and AMUSING!!! If you're not popular, your speech can really tip the scale!

For campaign, have AWEOMSE posters! With stuff that you plan to do and make it stuff that WE care about. Also, you need to do stuff!

Ron ran for president (he won, of course) and this is hwat he did.
- Got on the Radio
- Has the ability to beat box (lol)
- Has a cool slogan "What can Brown do for you?" (he's pakistani)
- His poster have what he'll do... "Will we get better food in the cafe? Vote for me to find out!"
- Constantly going to people for votes, even people can't vote for him!
- Great speech
- His activeness in this (and in the past) makes you feel like he really cares

Here's a poster idea that I've heard of:

Get a large piece of poster paper, and write "You know you want to" on the top half, and put a big sheet of bubble packaging wrap at the bottom. Underneath the bubble wrap, write "vote for _____".

So when the bubbles all get popped, it'll say "You know you want to vote for _____"

"If voting for me is wrong, you don't want to be right".
and if ur about to be in the senior class:
"Graduation fees- $200
Prom ticket-$70
Senior yearbook-$45
Voting for me for senior class ______-priceless
(Inserting the appropriate #s of course)

In my case you say:
"Vote for Pedro, and all your wildest dreams will come true..."

or

"Vote for _____, don't you wanna be kool?

OR.....You can bring a keyboard, and play Mario Bros. themesongs.

say,
"will have sex with hot girls for votes"

That's such a good idea, JEW! And you too, pged! Many, I wish I had run for office now. Those are really cool.

Here's something not to do. Please do not have a poster with your picture that says "Vote for Me" in UGLY handwriting! Ew. Also, don't have something no one would kow what you're talking about. Like, don't use any inside jokes unless they can make some bit of sense to everyone else.

Be neat in all of your campaigning!
