Camps for Intel/Siemens

Anyone know of camps where you could work on an Intel/Siemens project?

You can apply to the Garcia MRSEC Summer Science Research Program at Stony Brook University. A lot of intel/siemens semi-finalists and a couple of intel/siemens finalists. The deadline is Feb. 15th and asks for I think three or two letters of recommendations and a few short response questions. New this year they ask have requirements, but I highly doubt they will enforce it.

Rsi .

how about open for sophomores?
How is Iowa SSTP?

Is the Garcia MRSEC Summer Science Research Program good? Is it very competitive? Thanks!

RSI is good, of course.

May I suggest the Clark Scholars Program? 3 out of the 4 Clark Scholars who applied for Intel STS became semifinalists.

On the website the admit rate is 15-20% I think. If that’s competitive then yea, but I got in and to CC standards I’m not a genius.

Its a great program, you work in groups of 2-3 or individually in your lab but theres always a lot of or students within the area that makes it so much fun. I like research, but I think I would’ve cried if I didn’t have everyone around ahah.
