<p>I got accepted to Penn State York but would like to transfer to University Park to begin my freshman year. How should i got about doing this?</p>
<p>Where did you apply to originally? Did you apply to UP and accepted to york? If so, there is zero chance to go to UP freshman year…</p>
<p>no I applied for york as the first but after reviewing everything thoroughly I’m seeing that UP, or at least another campus with actual on-campus dorms would be better (im out of state btw)</p>
<p>I don’t think they’ll let you switch to University Park just like that since it is the one that most are trying to get into. If you do well though you should be able to transfer in after your sophomore year at York</p>
<p>It wouldn’t hurt to call and ask, but at this point the best you can hope for is probably the waitlist.</p>
<p>Best thing to do is to call them. I’m pretty sure they won’t allow it cause the only way you can transfer to UP from another campus is by the 2+2 program after your sophmore year or while going through your degree aquirements if your major has a class that is not taught at your campus you can be admitted into UP earlier.</p>
<p>My friend was accepted to Brandywine and he called in and asked if he could be reconsidered for main. They said they would let him know by the end of this month (he called a couple weeks ago). However the months ends in like a couple days and his stats weren’t that good, so I doubt he’ll be accepted to UP.</p>
