Campus Crossings College Station Review

Since its the time where Students/Parents are looking for a place where their son/daughter can stay, I decided to write a review of my experience at Campus Crossing College Station (Orlando, Florida Apartments - University of Central Florida - College Station - Student Housing).

For the full review(which I am not done yet...but will soon) you can visit: Campus Crossing College Station Review - Home where I have posted high quality pictures as proof.

I am not doing this for payback or enjoyment, but this is something I strongly believe will help interested Students/Parents make their decision and hopefully the people "Running" this apartments (not the young people that work here for free rent, not saying they are not helpful or respectful) will make improvements.

LOL, I’m just nodding my head so much as I read all of this.

I SO feel you on this. I live at Campus Crossings @ Alafaya, which is their sister company, and the week that I moved in was so terrible. It gave me SO much stress. I’ve vented quite a bit on this forum, but let me recall. So upon entering the apartment, we saw maintenance things that were shoved into a corner. Like a fogging machine, paint, paint brushes, etc… I still don’t understand why they didn’t take it away when they were done. Under the sink, there’s also this container of paint and a roller in it. Let’s just say, they didn’t clean this place very well for the new residents. There was mold in the bathtub, which I had to scrub down with some Clorox, and to be honest, it’s still quite disturbing to look at because of the rust. The rooms are pretty clean and nice, so I have no complaints about that. And the older residents that lived there left all their crap around the house and in the cabinets… one of the bathrooms upstairs had a wad of hair under the freaking sink!! It’s so gross! Then downstairs in one of the kitchen cabinets, there were like cigarette butts, a nasty ass mitten/glove thing, HAIR, ketchup packs, and just all sorts of nasty stuff that should have been cleaned out. In the oven, I saw some hair also and I have no clue how they got there, and to be quite honest, didn’t really want to know. And let’s see… we had a hugeee leak one time from the toilet upstairs down to the living room floor and who had to clean it? Us. The fridge was broken, sink had a leak, we had to get them to come and fix it as well. I wish I took pictures, or else I could’ve contributed to your review. We cleaned this place so much for it to be in the -decent- state that it’s currently in. Honestly though… I pay $485/month… so I tried my best to look past all of it and think that I’m saving money.

And let me tell you… we’ve had cockroaches around here. Was it because of my new roommates and I? Hell to the no. Upon coming here and a few days later was when we started spotting them. I had to go out and buy all kinds of crap to get rid of them and finally did. I’m a little sissy, so roaches scare the heck out of me. I’m even scared to pick up the dead ones that I’d see laying around from time to time. Once and if I ever spot a rat around here is when I officially terminate my lease and get out of here. Other than that, I’m good for -now-.
