Campus Housing, Warren vs. West

As an SMG student would you recommend living in Warren or West? I get that Warren is incredibly close to SMG but West looks very nice Andropov rave about the food and dorms. Is it worth living that far away to be close to FitRec and Agganis? I really don’t mind walking too much but I do like to sleep and I feel like living in Warren you can wake up later and still get to class on time. The cold is not a factor also, I’m from Vermont and am used to it.

I think it’s a matter of choosing convenience vs the actual dorm. I liked layout of West Campus housing better than Warren but there is a lot to be said about being close to classes, the library and the Union. Have you considered Towers? That is even closer to SMG.

If you’re really concerned about sleep, go with Warren. You can literally roll out of bed and make it to class on time.

However, you’re going to be waking a ton no matter what, so you’ll get used to the distance if you choose West. Both are great places for freshmen to live! I lived in Warren my first year and still regularly made it out to FitRec, Agganis, and everywhere else.

Alright sounds good! I feel like West campus would make sure I get some good exercise in being close to FitRec and having to walk to SMG. I have considered Towers, but I liked Warren more and it’s a little more central to campus. Also, is Bond a big place to hang out or do students tend to like GSU more?

Yeah I visited Towers but I liked Warren more. Mostly cause you’re closer to GSU. Also, do students tend to go to Bond often?

People go to the GSU all the time, usually to eat and study if you like a noisier environment.

What is Bond?

I was misinformed of the name of the student services center
