Hi!
I’m in the process of applying to Northwestern, but when I checked the website, I could not find any information on its exact list of intramural sports. I am wondering if they have intramural tennis on campus.
Also, I’m browsing the clubs they have, but when I checked the websites of a few like the Biomedical Engineering Society, Women’s Tennis Club, Chinatown Health Initiative, Undergraduate Premedical Society, and Engineering World Health, I could not find much proof that those clubs are active (last activity in “Past Events” out of all those clubs was in 2014).
Are activities and clubs like the ones I listed active? Most threads I read said it was pretty racially segregated and concentrated on frats and sororities… Is it?
Thanks!

Re: Your thread source - Segregated & Frats & sororities - HAHAHAHA -No. Clubs are fun but hard work also. Clubs do recruiting in the fall, so you can talk to them, and you can go to a couple of team meetings and “try them out” before you commit. They are a great way to form friendships outside study groups, & dorm life.
My D & S both played varsity sports in HS - but joined other sports clubs at NU. D found this really helpful later for study abroad - she was able to join the college varsity Euro team for her clubs sport. S has traveled all over US with his club sport. Good luck.
Thanks for clarifying things! Providing the links helped a lot too!
