<p>How can you find out your room telephone number? Or do you have to wait until you get to campus?</p>
<p>I’m actually filling out the Declining Balance Account Application… It says “campus/local telephone #.” Could that include my cell phone number, if that’s where I intend to be reached 99.99% of the time? (in which case I don’t have to worry about my room phone number.)</p>
<p>Sigh… I’m so confused. I don’t like paperwork. =/</p>

<p>I don't have an answer to the first question, but I believe we are supposed to bring a phone. I'm bringing an old phone, hopefully it'll due.</p>
<p>funkyspoon, in my case, I just left that phone number part blank. I mean, Brown notified me of my mail box number, but never of the telephone number... but then, I could be wrong. And yes, we are supposed to be bringing a touch-tone phone if you want to have that in your room, since the room only has a phone jack.</p>
<p>In which mailing was the notice of your mailbox number? My son can't find it, and the only thing I saw about it was on the notice about roommate assignments -- which said that mailbox numbers would be assigned once you arrive on campus.</p>
<p>i got my mailbox number online at the same time i activated my email. if you go here:

and click on "manage myAccount" (if you have one set up already) and log in, it lists your mailbox number.</p>
