Campus religious groups at Muhlenberg

A big part of my high school senior's life is her Christian youth group. Muhlenberg is a top choice for her next year. Is there a Christian campus ministry group at Muhlenberg, like InterVarsity, where she can get involved?

I visited many campuses over the past few years and am always interested in seeing how well a more conscious religious or healthy spiritual lifestyle is supported, I would say that Muhlenberg ranks very high in this regard. The student body exhibits a more respectful and reflective character than I’ve seen elsewhere and is less alcohol laiden than other schools (partying with alcohol exists, but alternatives seem more common at Mberg).

During an event last year, several of the a capella groups sang religious-themed songs. At the same time, the school culture is very accepting, very welcoming and no one is heavy handed about religion.

Having said all of that, I can’t tell you about Intervarsity at Muhlenberg but there is this group [DiscipleMakers Christian Fellowship at Muhlenberg College — DiscipleMakers Christian Fellowship](http://muhlenberg.dm.org/) . The school also has a new chaplain and as you may know, does have a Lutheran affiliation which is supportive of other faiths - e.g. Hillel enjoys great support…

I think the overall character of the student body is very supportive of the spiritually-minded student.
