<p>Do going to campus tours help get you in? I remember when I went to visit the campus last spring, at the end of the tour, we filled out a paper stating our names/DOB/school/year of application.</p>
<p>Cal Poly doesn’t take interest into account in their admissions decisions. It’s strictly by the numbers (GPA/test scores/work & EC hours).</p>
<p>Our high school counselor mentioned that it did help to go on the tour at Cal Poly…so who knows??</p>
<p>I dont think it does.
They just base everything on numberrs as vballmom said.
But it is a good idea to check the campus to see if you really do want to go there.
I took a tour and fell in love with it.</p>
