Are the Campus Days that beneficial? Do you have to pay for them? Who is going?

anybody know when it is? I need to schedule other college visits and I don't want it to conflict with Columbia in the slim chance that I get in. :T

They are April 19 and 20 and April 22 and 23. Hope that helps

Hi guys! I'm a senior at Columbia involved in the Days on Campus programs for admitted students. Those dates are correct for Columbia College. Those students who are admitted into the engineering school are invited to campus on April 17-18. These programs are EXTREMELY helpful if you are trying to decide between schools. You will get to stay with a current student and experience real Columbia life. I highly, highly encourage going because it's informative and a TON of fun. Good luck!

If I can't make it to the Days on Campus, would an overnight stay be just as helpful? What percentage of students attend?

Columbia is actually paying for me to fly up later… I’m so grateful because I was terrified of going to college in the fall without seeing campus

Is Columbia campus day different from other schools’ accepted students day since usually it’s one day, but Columbia has three days. Do parents accompany you everywhere like other schools have?

Hey guys,

I’m a junior at Columbia and I’m helping with the Days on Campus program. Columbia’s program is a little different, since we really stress the importance of the overnight visit during Days on Campus. There are two sessions for Columbia College students and one session for Engineering students:

SEAS Days on Campus: Apr 17-18 (Fri & Sat)
CC Days on Campus 1: Apr 19-20 (Sun & Mon)
CC Days on Campus 2: Apr 22-23 (Wed & Thurs)

I really, really recommend you come if you can! This is a great opportunity to get to know some of your future classmates and find out what it’s really like to be a student in New York City!
