Campuses Open for Winter 2010

Hello,

I have received a couple of messages about whether or not any of the UC campuses will be open for Winter 2010. I work in the Transfer Center @ my CCC and I asked the transfer counselors if they have heard anything. Here is their response:

UCR-open
UCM-open
UCSD-may be accepting TAG students
UCI-not open (so far)
UCSB-leaning toward no, but no confirmation yet
Berkeley-not open
UCLA-not open
UCD and UCSC-no word yet

I hope to post more when we get the information. It seems like some of the campuses have still not made a definite decision. I will let you know as we receive the information from them.

P.S. I realize that UCLA & UCB never open for Winter/Spring (except a couple majors @ UCLA) but I added them to this list in case there are people that come across this thread that aren't already aware.

this should be sticked for the next couple of months. until the winter transfer period passes (july 1-31)

looks like almost everything is a no so far… i guess ill hold onto my admission to merced

I called UCSC Admissions earlier today and found out that they WILL be accepting transfer students for Winter 2010. There’s no TAG for the Winter though, only Fall.

On the other hand, everything I’ve heard/read about UCSD confirms that they WILL be accepting transfers & offering TAG for Winter. :D
