Here are the guidelines - the waterfront and/or beach has to be either on campus or immediately adjacent to it (within a short walking distance - 10-12 minutes) and the body of water has to be something significant (something at least along the size of the larger Finger Lakes in NY).

what are your stats

I've already graduated from college and grad-school(s).

Just curious to see what schools have a waterfront/beach.

there was recently a thread on this. search for it.

University of Washington is on puget sound, it's a pretty beautiful area

Obviously schools like Pepperdine, University of San Diego, etc are all pretty close/on the water

interesting curiosity..

Florida Atlantic
Florida Gulf

Wisconsin...........

UC Santa Barbara

Eckerd (Florida)

Northwestern

I think Pepperdine is right on the beach in socal. Can't beat that.

Pepperdine overlooks the beach but across the highway and a developed strip of land from the beach. Maybe half a mile total.

UNC-Wilmington is a pretty decent state school right on the beach (great ecology and marine bio programs)

Monmouth College--in NJ

Endicott, in Beverly, MA

Salve Regina

University of St Andrews. Right on the North Sea.

Ach aye, itsa wee bit chilly there, though, me laddie.

Sorry.

Wisconsin is on two nice little Madison lakes, but nowhere near the size of the OP's parameter of the larger Finger Lakes

Atlantis University....you're IN the sea!!!

Wagner in NY

Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn

uskool- you beat me to it. I used to take a class at Kingsborough during the winter semester so that I could get a student ID and use the facilities of the beach in the summer. Years ago- it became like a private beach club to those living in the surrounding neighborhoods. Parking lot- cafeteria- and locker and shower facilities. In Brooklyn- that was priceless!!
